How To Play The Flute

2) The first thing you should do when playing the flute is grab the head joint and make sure you can get a clear and strong stream of air through it to create a sound. If nothing is coming out you either have to readjust you mouth on the mouth piece or blow faster air through your instrument instrument.
3) You need to assemble the flute and then hold it sideways so the flute is sideways. When you play you left hand should be at the front of the flute closet to the head joint and your right hand has to be behind the flute and closet to the foot joint
4) Once you can create a very strong stream of air and good sound through the mouth piece you sound you need to try to create a sound out of the flute. To make a sound out of the whole instrument you need to make sure you blowing fast air so it will travel through the whole "Tube".
5) Once you know how to make a sound you should look in your instruments music book and figure out your fingering so you can end up being able to play songs.
6) The finally step to actually being able to play the flute is to never give up if you can't make a sound because everything takes time.
